A NEW GANG CRIME

EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE is the name of the eleventh plaque, which is breezing through our educational sector and it seems it has become a norm. With the dismal performance at the just concluded UTME, blames were thrown
and shared across board, now the search light is on the on-going senior school certificate examinations. With reports of malpractices on daily occurrence, there is worry for the future of generations to come.
It is no longer new that many University graduates can't even put a correct sentence in place, recently at an even, a fellow brandishing a second class upper could not construct a formal letter and he wants to be a lecturer ( sadly, through kick backs and fronts got the job, I weep for his prospective 'victims' rather students).
The painful part is many parents actually pay or sponsor some of these purported special centres, as this has become a job for many and it is tantamount to organized crime which should be flushed away rather than allow it to flourish. This is a call to common good, just as is security which we feel the scourge today.
And education is one of the cure for the menace of insurgency, how can our young minds learn the right thing when they are made to believe you can't pass if you don't cheat.
There is this saying "na who pass na im know book", this is a fallacy from the pit of hell, the process is always the most important of all, no matter the forgery and trickery, the truth can't be hidden for ever and a disastrous would be inevitable.
Be warned, we totally reject exam malpractice in all its entirety.
