WINE GONE SOUR

Political jingoism is what best describes the accusations trailing the ward and local government congress across the nation. In Delta state after three days of ward elections were yet to arrive, in Edo state members are singing discordant tunes, with the party being factionalised and the local government elections witnessing a lot of boycotting by loyalist of a certain faction.
What is happening to the 'progressives'? In Edo north aggrieved members are calling for total cancellation of over 8 wards elections, likewise Edo south re-run elections, they want another re-run. A stalwart speaking was sad and said he had never heard where results of elections are taken to the government house before been announced.
With the tunes and body language of aggrieved members, maybe defection to PDP is inevitable (just a thought). Some elders claim it to be a family and will be resolved soonest, as the major reply of the leader to members is to go and harmonise. With the congress yet to be concluded more drama is expected.
When pundits fortold of crisis in the unholy union, many termed them cynics and called them enemy of change. Now we see change in a full package. A word is enough for the wise.
