The Nigerian military have said they did not receive any report of
killings by it's troops operating in Nassarawa state. There was an
earlier report on Thursday of the attack of Fulani insurgents in Keana
local government area of the state. However, the military spokesman,
Major general Chris Olukolade on Friday said that there was no formal
report of killings by the troops of the Nigerian army. He thereafter
promised that investigations will be carried out to determine if those
who carried out the attack were actually men of the Nigerian military.
If it wasn't the Nigerian military that attacked the Fulani
insurgents, who then did? Let's wait for the outcome of the military
investigation before we discuss further on this issue.
